Geared to auxiliary and university executives/administrators, this session will cover options, challenges, and opportunities in funding capital projects. The session will discuss strategies to develop predictable revenue streams, build reserves, and have strong debt service coverage ratios in order to create financing opportunities and mitigate financial risks for auxiliary, self-support programs, and academic financed facilities.

Biography
Rosa Renaud is the Director of Long Term Finance at the Chancellor's Office Financing and Treasury Department. With over 30 years of experience, she has been involved in over 40 bond issuances, totaling more than $15 billion. Rosa is responsible for the CSU's Systemwide Revenue Bond program, post issuance compliance, and training campuses on financing capital projects and meeting IRS requirements for tax-exempt bonds. Rosa held financing and auditing positions in the aerospace industry prior to the CSU and has both an undergraduate degree and MBA from UCLA.
