During this presentation we will discuss the importance of preventative maintenance on campus facilities and what can occur if this type of work does not take place. We will also discuss case studies that have occurred as a lack of preventative maintenance, how to handle various natural or manmade disasters as it relates to pipes bursting (clean and contaminated water), fires, ect. that trigger the need for emergency maintenance. We will also touch on emergency preparedness, sustainable practices during maintenance, professional collaboration, innovative techniques and campus engagement.

Biography
Patrice Griffith has over 25 years of experience in the field of residential, commercial and industrial real estate. She has managed and developed real estate throughout Northern CA in both the public and private sector having worked with dignitaries, state departments and major corporations. Currently, she is the Director of Real Estate Services at University Enterprises, Inc. (UEI) in Sacramento, CA. She oversees all aspects of real estate services for UEI as they acquire and develop land, manage buildings as well as project manage tenant and campus dining improvements. She currently serves as the Past President for the Building Owners Managers Association in Sacramento, mentors college students from her Alma Mater California State University East Bay (CSUEB), and teaches courses on a number of real estate topics for BOMA Sacramento.
Theresa is a dynamic result driven leader in the restoration industry. She is the Regional Director of Business Development for Restoration Management Company serving the Northwestern United States. Theresa brings two decades of experience in strategic leadership, launching scalable systems and consistent contributions to clients. Theresa is an active member of numerous local. regional and industry associations focused on public sector entities and commercial as well as residential real estate. She is also deeply committed to giving back and has been involved in various charitable organizations that support underserved communities.
