Details
Our panel discussion is intended to promote the AOA Leadership Academy and discuss where it all began, the progress the Academy has made and where we are now. We plan to have past mentors (TBD) join us in explaining the benefit of joining, the requirements to apply, and the possibilities it creates for the individuals involved due to the direct pathway to the AOA Executive Committee. The knowledge shared and connections that are made while participating in the Academy is universal for future leaders of the AOA. Our Auxiliary's thrive due to the support of AOA and the Ex Comm so recruiting for the positions is invaluable. We plan to promote the importance of getting involved and how it can propel an individual to making a positive difference system wide. We will be encouraging the attendees to apply or recommend their staff to apply for future cohorts. We will explain the function of the Executive Committee and its critical importance in managing the AOA annual functions.
