AOA Colleagues,

On behalf of the Conference Planning Committee, I am excited to invite you to the 2027 Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA) Annual Conference. We look forward to welcoming you to the vibrant city of San Diego, California, from January 10-12, 2027, at the Sheraton San Diego Resort.

This year's theme, "Better Together: Independent by Structure, Aligned by Purpose,” reflects the unique and essential role auxiliary organizations play across the CSU system. While each auxiliary operates independently to meet the needs of its campus community, our collective work is deeply connected through a shared mission of supporting student success, operational excellence, innovation, and service. At a time when higher education continues to evolve, the importance of collaboration, alignment, and shared purpose has never been greater. When auxiliaries, campuses, and the Chancellor’s Office intentionally work together, we strengthen our ability to respond to challenges, support our institutions, and create lasting impact for students, employees, and communities across California.

Conference sessions will highlight the collective impact of aligned efforts across Associated Students/Student Union/Recreation, Financial Services, Commercial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Philanthropy, Property Development and Management, Research Administration, and Risk Management. Through storytelling, shared best practices, innovative solutions, and partnership-building, attendees will explore how auxiliaries continue to serve as both collaborators and operational leaders within the CSU system.
