2027 Auxiliary Organizations Association Annual Conference

Better Together: Independent by Structure, Aligned by Purpose

Collaboration, innovation, student success, and shared purpose are central themes of the 2027 Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA) Annual Conference, taking place January 10–12, 2027, at the Sheraton San Diego Resort. With the theme “Better Together: Independent by Structure, Aligned by Purpose,” the conference will bring together professionals from auxiliary organizations across the California State University system to exchange ideas, share best practices, and explore innovative solutions that strengthen operations and support student success.

Through engaging educational sessions, meaningful discussions, and opportunities to build partnerships, attendees will examine how auxiliaries, campuses, and the Chancellor’s Office can work together more effectively while honoring the unique role each organization plays. Topics will include student services, business and financial services, commercial services, human resources, information technology, philanthropy, property development and management, research administration, and risk management.

This year’s AOA Annual Conference offers an exciting program designed to support professional development, collaboration, and connection across the CSU auxiliary community. The conference will feature 45 breakout sessions covering a wide range of timely topics, along with an expanded Business Partner Expo showcasing the services and expertise of our valued sponsors. Additional highlights include pre-conference sessions and optional activities, AOA committee meetings, the conference opening and keynote presentation, the Expo Grand Opening and Reception, the AOA Annual Business Meeting, and the Annual Banquet and Awards Luncheon. Please note that some meetings, sessions, and activities may be limited to invited participants or subject to change. Listed below are a few highlights.

Registration fees vary based on when you register.

  • Early Registration (through August 17, 2026):
    • Full Conference: $775
    • One-Day Registration (Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday): $350

  • Regular Registration (August 18–October 31, 2026):
    • Full Conference: $810
    • One-Day Registration (Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday): $375

  • Late Registration (November 1, 2026, through the start of the conference):
    • Full Conference: $850
    • One-Day Registration (Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday): $400
