The Auxiliary Organizations Association (AOA) is a consortium of 86 nonprofit auxiliary organizations affiliated with the 22 campuses of the California State University (CSU) system. These auxiliaries include student associations, foundations, research institutes, enterprise corporations, athletic foundations, housing corporations and student unions, and are 501(c)(3) public benefit corporations that provide essential services and programs supporting the educational mission of each campus. AOA serves as a unifying body that enhances the effectiveness of its member organizations by offering professional development, legislative and compliance updates, legal and risk management resources, and networking opportunities.
